Like all veterinary problems it is important that we make the correct diagnosis before coming up with a treatment plan. This often means that to treat a behavioural problem, further investigation is required to rule out possible medical conditions first. During your consultation with one of our vets, they will perform a full physical examination and often recommend blood tests and a urine-analysis.

From here the vet will collaborate any pathology, physical findings and a behavioural history to come up with a diagnosis and treatment plan. Depending on your pets individual needs this may include, obedience training, behavioural modification, behavioural medications, referral to a behavioural specialist etc.
