Dr. Hugh Willoughby BVSc/BVBio (Hons 1)

LEAD VETERINARIAN

Hugh is an experienced small animal veterinarian from Central West NSW and a first-class honours graduate in Veterinary Science from CSU Wagga Wagga. He loves meeting new clients and discovering the stories behind their beloved pets.

Hugh is comfortable managing all areas of veterinary care, with particular interests in surgery, geriatric medicine, and emergency care. He takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with both clients and colleagues, and values the positive difference he can make in the lives of pets and their families.

Outside of work, Hugh balances a busy career with life as a dad to a young family. He is dedicated to keeping clients informed and supported throughout their pet’s healthcare journey—and he looks forward to welcoming you and your furry friends to the clinic!

Dr. Frances Ng BVSc (hons) MANZCVS (Emergency and Critical Care) GCSAUA (small animal abdominal ultrasound) N8827

EMERGENCY & CRITICAL CARE VETERINARIAN
Frances hails from tropical Malaysian Borneo and completed her degree in the University of Melbourne in 2008. She moved into the local area shortly afterwards and started her career in mixed practice which she pursued for 3 years. She spent the next 5 years practising emergency medicine in Newcastle. During this time, she performed further studies in the field and became a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientist in the Emergency and Critical Care Chapter.
 
Frances hung up her emergency hat in 2018 and has been in the Motto Farm family since then. In 2022, she completed a graduate certificate in small animal ultrasound, also conferred by the University of Melbourne. This clearly demonstrates her deep passion in bringing the best of care to her patients.
 
Frances shares her life with a cat named “Casper” (guess what colour he is!), and another called Opal (also white). In her spare time, she likes wrangling her garden into some semblance of order and counting her bees. Outside of work, she can be spotted at Park Run at the Walka Waterworks and may even be seen at more challenging races.

Dr Vikki BVetBio/BVSc

VETERINARIAN

Vikki began her career in the veterinary industry as a veterinary nurse before graduating as a veterinarian from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga in 2021. She has since worked in Dubbo and on the Sunshine Coast, gaining broad clinical experience before joining the team at Motto Farm. She has a particular interest in caesarean procedures, puppy consultations, and supporting senior dogs to live comfortably and happily through their golden years. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and is the proud owner of two gorgeous dachshunds.

Melissa

PRACTICE MANAGER

Melissa joined the Motto team in 2006 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2007. As Practice Manager, she brings extensive experience and a passion for hospital cases and nursing, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly while providing excellent care for every patient.

At home, Melissa has shared her life with a Dalmatian named Phoenix and two cats, Starla and Speed. She enjoys gardening, reading, and staying active to keep fit.

Erica

VETERINARY NURSE

Erica has been a friendly face at Motto since 2009. She completed her veterinary nursing qualification in 2008 and brings a wealth of experience and care to both the clinic team and our clients.

Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with her young family and her three dogs—two Golden Retrievers and a Groodle. She loves camping, motorbike riding, and anything that gets her outdoors.

Rhiannon

VETERINARY NURSE

Rhiannon has been a qualified veterinary nurse since 2013 and has a keen interest in surgery and wildlife care. She is currently expanding her expertise through a wildlife course, reflecting her passion for helping all animals.

Rhiannon joined Motto in 2020 and enjoys being part of a team that delivers compassionate, high-quality care. Outside of the clinic, she lives with her young family and her Bull Terrier, Kahuna, and loves spending time outdoors, gardening, and enjoying nature with her loved ones.

Amelia

VETERINARY NURSE

Amelia recently completed her veterinary nursing course in December 2025, after joining Motto as an animal attendant in 2022. She brings energy, dedication, and a love of animals to every role she takes on.

At home, Amelia enjoys spending time with her young family and her two Border Collies, Prince and Gracie. She also loves motorbike riding and making the most of her time outdoors.

Alexie

Alexie

VETERINARY NURSE

Alexie completed her veterinary nursing qualification in 2024 and joined Motto in 2025. She has a particular interest in emergency nursing and enjoys supporting pets and their families during critical care situations.

Outside of work, Alexie shares her life with her German Shepherd, Marley, and loves camping, CrossFit, and relaxing with Netflix in her downtime.

Tylah

VETERINARY NURSE

Tylah completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2020 and joined Motto in 2025. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge across all areas of veterinary nursing and providing the best care for every patient.

At home, Tylah shares her life with three cats—Rusty, Sage, and Theodore—and her German Shepherd, Samui.

Candice

VETERINARY NURSE

Candice has been a dedicated veterinary nurse since 2004 and completed her qualification in 2006. She joined Motto in 2025 and brings extensive experience in emergency and critical care, holding a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Emergency & Critical Care) earned in 2010. In 2022, she also graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.

Outside the clinic, Candice enjoys spending time with her young family and showing her dogs.

Jess

VETERINARY NURSE
Jess is one of our Veterinary Nurses who began working here in December 2025, after completing her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing.
 
Jess has dreamt of being a vet nurse since she was 5 years old. She is our resident treat giver, and professional ” Who’s a good boy?’ enthusiast. Jess can often be found in surgery, cuddling hospital patients,  and trying very hard not to take home every stray that comes through the doors.
 
When she’s not in clinic, Jess enjoys martial arts, anything creative and outdoor adventures with her young family and Labrador Gus.

Erin

VETERINARY NURSE
Erin has been part of the veterinary industry since 2009, bringing with her many years of knowledge.
 
Erin has a huge heart and has a genuine passion for patients and clients and prioritises building meaningful connections with everyone she meets. She makes sure everyone in the clinic receives the love and attention they deserve. 
 
When not spreading love in the clinic, Erin is caring for her family, which includes her 2 beautiful daughters and her furry family, which consists of 2 dogs, Barney and Loki and a cat named Pickles.
